Former goalkeeper “Real” Iker Casillas wrote that he was gay.
“I hope you respect me. I’m gay. Happy Sunday everyone,” wrote the ex-goalkeeper Spain national team on twitter.
Former partner of Casillas in the national team, ex-defender of Barcelona Carles Pujols reacted to this tweet with his: “It’s time to tell our story, Iker ❤️????.”
Recall that in 2009, Casillas began dating the Spanish TV presenter Carbonero Palace. On March 20, 2016, they got married. The couple have two sons: Martin (2014) and Lukas (2016). On March 12, 2021, the couple announced their separation following 12 years together.
