On Monday night’s April 10 RAW show, Liv Morgan and Raquel Gonzalez defeated Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

A loss of titles which also came with a betrayal by Trish Stratus who decided to attack Lynch following the match.

Going back to the beginning of the show to understand the situation, Becky Lych and Lita were supposed to defend the tag team titles, but Lita found herself the victim of a mystery attack backstage. Lita was rushed to the hospital and these events resulted in Trish Stratus taking the place of her friend and lifelong rival in the title match.

Despite a good performance from Stratus and Lynch, Liv Morgan was able to avoid Trish’s finisher and surprise her with a Roll Up for the three count.

The reign of Becky Lynch and Lita will therefore have been only 42 days.

As for Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, this is their first reign together. Rodriguez was champion with Aliyah in 2022 and for Morgan this is her first reign with this championship.

We will now have to watch the next episodes to see where this Stratus vs. Lynch rivalry will take us. For now, Trish has declined to comment on the attack when asked for an explanation by Byron Saxton, and the latter is now under heavy suspicion on social media for the attack on Lita. The theory would be jealousy that Becky chose her over her to team up with her for the titles.
