Currently on the island, Max Dubois returned for France-Antilles to his eviction from the Overseas Ministry last February, to the letter from Banamart sent a few days before the announcement of his departure or even to his fight that he intends to sue once morest “the situation of economic monopoly” experienced by the overseas territories.
Dixon Arroyo and his divergence with Emelec: ‘I wrote to the president, vice president, manager, and coordinator and they did not give me a reason for my payment and they had already told me that they were not going to pay me’ | National Championship | Sports
Perhaps the hours in Emelec of the midfielder Dixon Arroyo are numbered. The soccer player was excluded from the list of players that this Saturday, in Portoviejo, will visit the Dolphin, for date four of the Pro League.
Due to a two-month debt, as confirmed by the soccer player, on Thursday the squad would have decided to suspend the morning practice in solidarity with his teammate.
José Pileggi Véliz, president of Emelec, was asked regarding Arroyo’s position and responded with an angry tone: “You have to ask him.”
“There is no (abnormal) situation. We are up to date with our obligations, and anything will be dealt with in a disciplinary manner with the person who caused this, ”he added.
Arroyo, in a conversation with a digital media, indicated that he sent a notification to the Pro League on the issue of debt and clarified that it is not a “demand”.
“If they want me to continue, I will. I respect the club a lot, I have always given my best and I never try to harm the team, but these are things that I tried to discuss personally, internally with the club and I never had an answer, ”he commented.
“I wrote to the president, vice president, manager, coordinator and no one gave me a reason (for my payment), the only thing they told me is that they were not going to pay me, and it is not like that because the signed amounts have to be paid, whether or not there is a championship. Because if not, I might work those two months with another team and I don’t think the team will allow it, ”he added in conversation with Studiofútbol.
He insisted that he has not sued the Guayaquil institution and believes that President Pileggi “took the wrong” his situation.
“It is not a demand but a notification. A question to Liga Pro and the president took it badly, but it must be solved. I thank my colleagues for their support, ”he specified.
“As players we try to keep the dressing room healthy and that is why those who have arrived have fit in well with the team, the difference in coaching staff or leadership has not been noticed. We have tried to keep many things within the club as it should be ”, he added.
When asked regarding his situation in the squad coached by Miguel Rondelli, the midfielder indicated that he has not had any notification regarding his continuity.
“As long as they don’t tell me otherwise (not to train) I have to be at the club and training. Thank God I have the support of my teammates because it’s not just me, it’s with more players, ”he concluded.
He also indicated that he already had a meeting with Jorge Bonnard, millionaire vice president, and they agreed on a payment plan. (D)
Brussels: Finland will become an official member of the NATO military alliance within days, NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg has announced. Turkey’s Parliament approved Finland’s application to join the 30-member NATO. After months of opposition, Turkey gave the green light to Finland. With this, the last obstacle in front of Finland’s NATO accession was removed.
Last year, Finland and Sweden applied to join NATO following abandoning their military neutrality policy in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Sweden’s accession is still half-way through as Hungary and Turkey have not yet ratified it.
A meeting of foreign ministers from the bloc’s countries will be held at NATO headquarters in Brussels next week. Finland’s membership may be made official then.
Derek Carr signs with the New Orleans Saints – TOUCHDOWN24
From Las Vegas to New Orleans: Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints have agreed on a multi-year contract.
- Carr signs long-term contract
- The cut tablecloth with the Raiders
- What will happen to Jameis Winston?
The first domino of this year’s offseason has fallen as the New Orleans Saints announced today that quarterback Derek Carr has signed a four-year, $150 million deal with the Louisiana franchise. The 31-year-old’s contract includes a guaranteed salary of 100 million, of which 60 million are due on signing and 10 more in the third year of the contract. There is also a no-trade clause, as NFL insider Mike Garafolo reports. In the past few weeks, Carr had met with the Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets and Carolina Panthers in addition to the Saints. In New Orleans he now gets the chance to work once more with head coach Dennis Allen – both worked together in 2014 with the Raiders.

After nine seasons with the Raiders, Carr was fired during this year’s offseason following the quarterback exercised his no-trade clause. This saved Las Vegas $40.4 million. In his nine seasons, the 31-year-old averaged 35,222 passing yards, 217 touchdowns and led the Raiders to an overall record of 63 wins and 79 losses.
Carr now gets another chance as a starter with the New Orleans Saints. It is questionable what will happen to quarterback Jameis Winston, who – unlike veteran Andy Dalton – will not become a free agent but is still under contract for 2023. With a timely release, the Saints would save $4.4 million but would have to swallow a dead cap of $11.2 million. If New Orleans fires the 29-year-old following June 1, 2023, they would save $12.8 million but would have no savings for upcoming free agency.
