The head of the Histadrut (Israel’s main labor union), Arnon Bar-David, said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is responsible for the failure that caused the October 7 attack, and he must resign, vowing to join the protests once morest the government.
The Israeli media quoted Bar-David as saying during a conference in the city of Beersheba on Saturday that this government โbrought a disaster upon us,โ calling for setting a date for holding elections and installing a new prime minister within a year.
The Israeli union leader said that he spoke with Netanyahu and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to adjust the budget and adapt to the war situation, including closing unnecessary government offices, but they did not take his proposal into consideration, he said.
Bar-David warned that the Histadrut – which might disrupt a large part of the Israeli economy – may join demonstrations and anti-government movements if Netanyahu tries to cling to power.

For their part, the families of the Israeli prisoners detained in the Gaza Strip called on the head of the Histadrut to organize a strike to paralyze the economy, until an agreement is reached to exchange prisoners with the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
On Saturday, thousands of Israelis demonstrated in several cities to demand that Netanyahuโs government step down, hold early elections, and return prisoners detained in Gaza, while police arrested a number of demonstrators in front of Netanyahuโs home in Caesarea.
The Al Jazeera correspondent said that thousands of Israelis closed the street leading to the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv, demanding that the Prime Minister conclude a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas.
The police threatened to use force and arrest protesters in Tel Aviv if the streets continued to be closed.

Life is more than work, you should take a break when you are tired. A 37-year-old man from the Mainland works two jobs in order to make money. Frequently complains of being tired and wakes up suddenly from a stroke
The 37-year-old mainland man posted on the social platform “little red bookโ, sharing that he experienced a huge change in his life following suffering a stroke overnight. In 2018, the male victim worked in a medical group on weekdays, was a screenwriter and director on weekends, and shot movies or short films in his spare time with his partner. It was the peak of his career at that time. “Young people can’t do anything unless they work hard.” He worked hard and earned 50,000 yuan a month.
However, he had almost no time to rest and often complained regarding lack of sleep. He only slept 4 to 5 hours a day for 3 months before the onset of the disease. He often shouted “I am so tired that I am going to die”. Unexpectedly, his words came true. One night, the male victim woke up in the middle of the night and found that his body was completely out of control, and “his face was numb as if there was an electric shock.” At that time, he took out his mobile phone and took a selfie with a smile, and found that half of his body was out of control.
“I took out my phone and tried to make myself smile. Only half of my body received the command at that time, leaving this half-smiling, half-frightened photo.”
The onset of the disease is like a dream, with family members crying behind their backs
He described that he was very tired and sleepy at the time, and might hardly open his eyelids. At that moment, he really thought he was going to die. When he woke up once more, he was already in the hospital bed and saw his mother waiting by his side. He later learned that he had been in a coma for three days and felt like he was in a dream. He described the disease as neither painful nor itchy, but he woke up in the middle of the night with the left side of his body unable to control his movements, facial paralysis, left side hemiplegia, and slurred speech. In order not to worry his family, he concealed his emotions with a smile.
“Just following a sleep, I changed from the breadwinner of the family to a patient who had to rely on family members to help him defecate and defecate. The shame and despair were hidden under that smile. I told myself: ‘Don’t panic at this time, if you panic If you don’t, those who love you will be doubly sad.”
Cover up despair with a smile
At the age of 31, he became the youngest stroke patient in the hospital. He worked hard every day to receive rehabilitation treatment, acupuncture, electrotherapy, etc., with a glimmer of hope that he might walk once more like a normal person. What he cares most regarding is the feelings of his wife and mother. He knows that his wife has been anxious for a long time because of his condition, but she still pretends to be calm in front of him; his mother appears to be normal on the surface, but will secretly cry in the hospital corridor behind his back.
After six years of rehabilitation treatment, his left leg and arm were slowly under control, and his facial paralysis also improved, but he still might not return to his previous life and work.
4 major signs of stroke
Lu Man-wai, a specialist in neurology in Hong Kong, was interviewed and pointed out that there are two types of strokes, namely “hemorrhagic stroke” and “ischemic stroke”. The former is commonly known as “burst blood vessel”, and its causes include the inherent fragility of cerebral blood vessels. , cerebrovascular malformation, or high blood pressure causing blood vessels to burst, people of all ages are likely to suffer from “hemorrhagic stroke”; the high-risk factors for the latter are three high blood pressure, long-term smoking or alcohol abuse, which increase the risk of thrombosis and damage the blood vessels of the brain. Become blocked and suffer from “ischemic stroke”.
Dr. Lu pointed out that common risk factors for stroke include high blood pressure, high blood lipids, high blood sugar, etc. Regular smoking, eating fried and greasy food, and less exercise will also increase the risk of stroke. It is recommended that young people should smoke less and pay attention to a balanced diet. Exercise more and have regular physical examinations, especially for people with a family history of heart disease or diabetes.
120 Tips for Stroke
Clinically, there is a 3-hour “golden time” for stroke first aid. The sooner treatment is received, the lower the mortality and disability rate. Therefore, early identification is particularly important. It needs to be accurately identified within 5 minutes. Remember the “Stroke 120” formula. , can save lives at critical moments:
