Inflation: the target will not be reached before 2026
Federal Reserve officials also note that “inflation has slowed over the past year but remains high.” Inflation should slow down a little faster than expected, falling to 2.4% at the end of 2024, according to updated forecasts, compared to 2.5% anticipated in the previous ones, in September. But we will have to wait until 2026 to see it return to the desired level of 2.0%.

As for growth, this year it will be stronger than initially expected, at 2.6% (compared to 2.1%), but should slow down more than expected next year, to 1.4% (compared to 1.5 %), and then accelerate once more. No change, however, for the unemployment rate, expected at 3.8% this year, and 4.1% in 2024.

On Wednesday, Santa Fe Station casino announced the return of Stoney’s North Forty with an all-new bar and entertainment space inside the northwest valley casino.

The 13,000 square-foot space will offer guests plenty of room for line dancing and two-steppin’ during live performances from popular country artists, along with a mechanical bull.

Stoney’s North Forty will also feature a 2,300 sq. ft. outdoor louvered pergola with a central fireplace, a dedicated beer pong area, other interactive games, and ample seating for socializing.
The bar will be open seven days a week starting at 4 p.m. following its grand opening.
“We’re very excited regarding the return of Stoney’s North Forty to Santa Fe Station,” said Chris Lowden, President of Porchlight Hospitality Group.
“I feel there is a great untapped market for us in the Northwest, and there is no better home than Santa Fe. With their already great dining and entertainment choices, this is a terrific partnership.”
Stoney’s currently has one location in Las Vegas, located at Town Square.

Vienna – Austrians continue to retire significantly earlier than the OECD average. While the average retirement age in 2022 in the OECD area was 64.4 years for men and 63.6 years for women, in Austria men retired at 61.6 years and women at 60.9 years, as shown on The OECD study “Pensions at a Glance” published on Wednesday shows this.
