Every year since 2018, millions of French people automatically receive the energy check in April. This aid is sent in waves, which means that the French do not receive it all at the same time. For the year 2024, this check will be sent to nearly 6 million households from Tuesday April 2, 2024.

After the publication of the list of the first departments concerned by energy check payments, the Ministry of the Economy published the schedule of aid payments in all departments. These payments will take place between April 2 and April 25, 2024 in waves.

The departments affected by the first wave of payment from April 2 to 5, 2024

It should be noted that the energy check is sent by post. It is therefore necessary to allow between two and four days between sending and receiving them.

The French who will have to request the energy check

It should be remembered that this year, due to an administrative malfunction, French people who became eligible in 2024 will not receive the energy check automatically. They will have to request it themselves via a dedicated platform. According to Bruno Le Maire, this will be implemented in mid-May, following the completion of the automatic energy check sending campaign.

The third generation of the Hyundai i30 model was introduced back in 2016 and is still in service. Such longevity is quite atypical for Korean companies that are quick to grow into new generations. However, even now the current “thirty” is not going to resign, because the second renewal has already been carried out. The main reason for it was the new requirements of the European Union, which require the mandatory presence of electronic assistants. But modernization was not limited to their addition.

Spot changes to the exterior include a new grille with smaller cells, different fog light housings and a redesigned lower segment of the front bumper. Seven new shades have been added to the body color palette, and you can choose from a total of twelve colors. The interior has a more pleasant-to-touch coating on the upper part of the front panel, and the central tunnel is now completely “filled” with gloss black. New combinations of fabric, microfiber and leatherette with modified patterns are used in the upholstery of seats and armrests. Additional LED lighting has appeared in the interior and trunk.

Standing apart is the sporty version of the Hyundai i30 N Line, which is offered in all three body types (hatchback, liftback and station wagon). It also has changed radiator grilles and air intakes, dark inserts have appeared in the front and rear bumpers, as well as on extended sills. Buyers can choose 17- or 18-inch wheels.

The basic configuration includes a 4.2-inch color trip computer screen (a 10.25-inch virtual instrument panel is offered for an additional fee) and three USB Type-C connectors. But much more importantly, standard equipment now includes automatic braking and lane keeping systems, a speed limiter, a door alarm and all-round parking sensors. Adaptive cruise control requires additional payment.

No changes under the hood have been announced. Accordingly, in Europe, the Hyundai i30 can still have a 1.0 T-GDi turbo-four (120 hp) or a 1.5 T-GDi turbo-four (160 hp). They are combined with a 48-volt hybrid add-on and a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed preselective robot. For export outside Europe, cars come with an aspirated 1.5 (110 hp). The 1.6 turbodiesel was excluded from the range back in 2022, and in the near future the “hot” Hyundai i30 N will follow it, so it is no longer in the updated range.

Production of the updated Hyundai i30 family at the Czech plant in Nošovice will start in April. Prices will be announced then. Now the pre-reform i30 in Germany costs from 27,590 euros.
