With 50.1 terawatt hours (TWh) of net electricity exports in 2023 to its European neighbors, France has regained its place as the leading exporter which was held by Sweden in 2022, according to data communicated on Wednesday by the analysis firm S&P Global Commodity Insights, and revealed the day before by the newspaper Les Echos.

After selling land to Northvolt a few months ago for $240 million, businessman Luc Poirier believes he might pull off another big real estate coup.

He believes he can sell another piece of land for hundreds of millions of dollars.
“I paid $23 million for the Briqueterie land in La Prairie almost four years ago and I think we will be able to sell it for between $700 and $800 million in a few years,” reveals the entrepreneur.
