Since the glass panel of the Vision Pro is tightly integrated with the fuselage, the iFixit team used heat guns and tools when trying to disassemble it. After a long time, the glass cover was finally removed. Although the glass is not damaged, the protective plastic film on the glass has peeled off during the disassembly process, and it cannot be ruled out that it may have melted. If you need to go to Apple to repair and replace the Vision Pro’s glass panel in the future, you will need to pay $799 to replace it.

The Vision Pro glass panel itself weighs only 34g, but the complete Vision Pro body plus the battery pack weighs more than 1kg.
