Pro y Contra went in search of the opinion of the population to know the perception of the work carried out in the first 100 days of the administration of the regional governor of Loreto, René Chávez.
In the vicinity of the Modelo market, we found a merchant who hoped that she would work for the population and asked her to prioritize the streets that end up flooded every time it rains.
“You should see the issue of garbage and crime, since there are many Colombian or Venezuelan lenders who do what they want,” said a motorcycle taxi driver.
“It is somewhat premature to make a criticism, but it should focus on making traffic viable, which, although it is a municipal management, nothing is done. I am not a sympathizer of the previous governor Elisbán Ochoa, but the public roads were paved. Chávez is a doctor, I ask that he not take advice from burned people, ”said a citizen.
Then we interviewed a merchant who believes that the governor has been doing a good job. Opinion that is not shared by another vendor, who asks to carry out projects that generate jobs among the youngest.

Santo Domingo, Apr 14.- Former President Leonel Fernández affirmed this Friday that “there is no such alliance” with the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) ahead of the 2024 elections, but reiterated that he has “sympathy” towards the creation of an opposition front to confront the ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM).
“There is no such thing, such an alliance,” Fernández responded to journalists at a meeting in La Romana.
The ex-governor, however, said that “we have always spoken, we have always believed” in an opposition front that might emerge for next year’s elections, although he stressed that “we are advancing in our own way”, when referring to his organization, the People’s Force (PF).
«José Francisco Peña Guaba has always been working in the coordination of an opposition front. We have seen with sympathy that this might be, but we have been working on our own goal, which is to achieve two million members of the Fuerza del Pueblo,” the politician said.
Fernández said that “everything depends” on the creation of the opposition front.
Last Monday in Santiago, the former president announced that his party will lead a large opposition front that will put an end to “this bad government that has been characterized by incompetence.”
On that occasion, he said that the People’s Force will be part of a great opposition front to, together with other parties, win next year’s elections. EFE
