Qualcomm is in talks with several companies in the gaming industry to consider developing a portable gaming device. In a tweet, tipster Revegnus claims that Qualcomm Senior Vice President Alex Katouzian is apparently in discussions with Nintendo and Sony to develop hardware that can be similar to the competition.
It remains unclear how this potential partnership will work. It is likely that Qualcomm will make use of Nintendo’s expertise regarding the console design and functionality gaming console.
????
According to Alex Katouzian, Senior Vice President at Qualcomm, Qualcomm has recently been in discussions with Nintendo and Sony SIE regarding the future development of portable gaming devices.Of course, it’s unclear if this will actually lead to a partnership

As for Sony, Qualcomm may partner with the Japanese company in an effort to develop and release exclusive mobile games optimized for the Snapdragon platform. As for hardware, where Sony and Nintendo source their chips from other vendors, Qualcomm has years of experience in this category, developing and bringing its own solutions. Its Adreno 740, belonging to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, is easily the fastest Android smartphone GPU right now.
Qualcomm is working on the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 4, a chipset with a 12-core configuration designed to be found in notebooks. Something similar can be found in this games console, with the device running Android right out of the box.

Zurich (awp) – The Aargau chemist Dottikon Exclusive Synthesis (ES) recorded a sharp growth spurt in its staggered 2022/23 financial year, which ended at the end of March, along with an improvement in its profitability. Engaged in an extension of its infrastructures with a view in particular to a movement of repatriation of pharmaceutical production, the specialist in hazardous reactions prefers to inject its liquidities into its material and human capacities than into shareholder remuneration.
The turnover was coated by more than a quarter to 319.5 million Swiss francs, when the gross operating surplus jumped 31.3% to 116.6 million. Net profit exploded by nearly half to 87.7 million, according to the annual report released on Wednesday.
Operating cash flow was multiplied by two and a half to 89.5 million, but investments swelled by three quarters to 136.4 million. This results in a new flow of available cash of 46.9 million, once morest 42.9 million a year earlier.
The management aims for the current financial year to further increase its revenues and maintain a strong growth rate in the medium term. The approximately 700 million invested in the extension of capacities should lead in 2024 to the commissioning of a drying site for active pharmaceutical ingredients and in 2025 to that of a versatile chemical plant.
Ultimately, the firm intends to create more than 200 new jobs in its Dottikon stronghold and practically double its production capacity for active ingredients.
Analyst for the Zurich Cantonal Bank (ZKB), Daniel Buchta welcomes a volley of robust figures, made during a difficult period. According to him, the performance certainly responds to price increases, but also to an increase in volumes.
However, the analyst deplores the lack of detailed prospects, for his part counting on a slowdown in growth of around 10% over the current financial year before a further acceleration. The Ebitda margin target of around 40% seems realistic in the long term, but will immediately be undermined by the large volume of investments.
At 10:30 am, the registered Dottikon ES appreciated by 2.6% to 256.50 Swiss francs, at the forefront of an SPI up slightly by 0.10%.

Organized during the U13 regional finals of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine League in Gujan-Mestras, a reforestation action financed by the carbon contribution of the FFF made it possible to plant 50 trees and raise awareness among 80 young people of the functioning and benefits of urban wooded areas.
Football leads to everything, including planting trees! On May 13 and 14, during the Ligue Nouvelle-Aquitaine (LFNA) U13 regional finals in Gujan-Mestras (Gironde), 80 curious and motivated volunteers came together thanks to the Football Écologie France (FEF) association. and the district council, in the wood of Chante Cigale, near the infrastructure of FC Bassin d’Arcachon.
The objective was threefold: primo rejuvenate this remarkable urban wooded area (classified EBC*), by planting 50 young “umbrella” pines under cover, in order to quickly compensate for the disappearance of part of the afforestation. Secondly diversify the composition of the space in order to favor the reception of biodiversity. Thirdlymake children and the local population aware of the benefits of urban wooded areas, including the reduction of heat islands, the preservation of water and the improvement of the carbon footprint.
It is precisely within the framework of its carbon contribution operation for the France-Denmark match of June 3, 2022, led by Game Earththat the FFF supported the operation. “In connection with the LFNA, we wanted to involve the participants in the regional finals in this reforestation project. Thanks to the city’s services, an educator, a parent and a player from each team were able to help root 50 trees, with enthusiasm and motivation.”, rejoices Pierre Lalot, head of the Bordeaux office for FEF. To perpetuate the impact of the plantation, two educational panels installed at the entrance to the wood will serve as a support for the information of local residents and pupils of neighboring schools.

Have a positive impact on football events
“I’ve been wondering for a long time how, in our footballing sphere, we might act effectively and simply for a better environment, better manage transport, waste, water and lighting. It’s not all small things, it’s a state of mind.pours out Rodolph Sarrieau, youth technical manager of UA Niort Saint-Florent (-Deux-Sèvres) participating in the operation.
This type of action is the perfect demonstration of our CSR policy initiated for more than a year, in order to have a positive societal and environmental impact on our events;
Said Enjimmi, president of the New Aquitaine League
In parallel with the planting, the U13 finals were also an opportunity to offer educational activities. Whether it’s the Wheel of the Federal Educational Program (PEF) led by the Regional Ethics/Fair-Play/Citizen Values Commission or the FEF’s Ecological Football Fresco, on its #tousecosupporters stand.
« We are happy to have been able to support this approach and offer our young licensees the opportunity to participate in this reforestation operation, in our region which was hard hit last year. This type of action is the perfect demonstration of our CSR policy initiated for more than a year, in order to have a positive societal and environmental impact on our events »concludes Saïd Ennjimi, president of the LFNA.

The ten species of “umbrella” pines were planted according to a system allowing comparison of their performance over time: mortality, growth, sensitivity to insects and diseases, associated biodiversity, etc. The experimental system occupies an area of 2,160 m2: 25 blocks with 12 plots of 9 plants each occupying 4 m2. A plan of the experimental device was drawn up before planting and then listed in the “green spaces” department of the municipality of Gujan-Mestras.
