Representative Jamil Al-Sayyed tweeted on his Twitter account, writing: “To those who ask me regarding the names of the corrupt people who have benefited from Riad Salameh’s bounties and gifts, I say: I do not have and have not at any time had any private or personal dispute between me and Salameh.”
He added, “Even during and following my leadership in Army Intelligence and my presidency of Public Security, he wished I had asked him for any service of any kind, and he was ready to serve me with a few million dollars of state and people’s money.”
And Al-Sayyed added, “As he did with hundreds of politicians, senior judges, officers, their sons and wives, media professionals, clerics, businessmen, TV stations, newspapers, and others who we see today defending him following they benefited from him before and following 2019 with hundreds of millions of dollars in the form of benefits, brokerages, subsidized loans, grants, allocations, donations, and transfers.” From pounds to dollars and from dollars abroad, all of which are from the deposits of Lebanese residents and expatriates.
He continued, “Therefore, I do not need to mention names, and every citizen can easily follow the statements and positions of most of his defenders today, to immediately know the network of safety beneficiaries!!”
Al-Sayed concluded, “It is a matter of a short time for the investigations to expose these names, documents, facts, and numbers in Lebanon and abroad…Lebanon is a country without secrets, and the stupid is the one who fools people.”

Archyde.com reported, quoting two sources that it described as being on both sides of the negotiation, that an agreement had been reached between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, on a humanitarian truce for a period of 7 days, starting following 48 hours.
According to Sudanese sources, the armistice agreement between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces includes the exit of militants from hospitals and the repair of facilities.
The sources pointed out that the agreement provided for “double control” of the land and air through satellites and drones.
The city of Jeddah is witnessing indirect talks between envoys of the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, sponsored by Saudi Arabia and the United States, discussing a ceasefire, extending the armistice, and opening humanitarian corridors in Sudan.
Sudan has been in turmoil since fighting broke out between the army and the Rapid Support Forces in mid-April.
The battles killed 705 people and injured at least 5,287 people, according to the World Health Organization.
Since midnight last night, the areas south and east of Omdurman city witnessed clashes with heavy and light weapons between the two parties to the conflict.

“NASA’s Juno Probe Captures Stunning Images of Volcanic Moon Io Around Jupiter”

The US space agency “NASA” revealed pictures taken by the “Juno” probe as it approached Jupiter’s moon “Io”, which is teeming with volcanoes and lava.
According to the workers on the “Juno” probe project, it will continue to get closer to Jupiter’s moon, “Io”, during this year.
And as Scott Bolton, the probe’s mission official, told Mashable, these images were of Juno on its 51st trip around Jupiter.
“The probe is not heading directly toward Jupiter, but is making close maneuvers around the giant planet,” Bolton added.
He continued, saying: “Io is the most volcanic celestial body we know in our solar system.”
On the importance of Juno’s mission, Bolton explained: “By observing it at different times and from different angles, we can see how volcanoes evolve and how often their lava is emitted, and the shape of these projectiles changes, which will lead us to very valuable information.”
