Bundesliga: WAC sits at the top of the qualifying group
2023-05-20 17:20:02
Maurice Malone (38th) initiated the away win in front of 3,476 fans in the Profertil Arena with a anything but untenable low shot for his eighth goal of the season. Augustine Boakye (52nd), who was called up from the start this time, put the lid on it shortly following the restart with the 2-0.
Coach Manfred Schmid’s team is unbeaten in six games. The Styrians, on the other hand, lost once more following six games without defeat and, two rounds before the end of the season, as fourth in the table and four points behind the top duo, they only have minimal chances for the European Cup.
Lucky lead gate
Both teams had recently ticked off the topic of relegation positively, but neither team played really free. The Hartbergers might have been rewarded early following a nice combination, Mamadou Sangare aimed a wafer-thin shot wide of the far post following a body deception with his left (12′).
Otherwise there was nothing to see offensively, similar to the other side. With a bit of luck, the opening goal fell there. Malone shot from around 25 yards and the ball slipped into the net under the hands of goalie Raphael Sallinger.
Boakye makes the preliminary decision
After the restart, the hosts came out of the dressing room with verve, but Lukas Fadinger shot well over it from the penalty area (50′). It was precisely in this phase that the WAC made the preliminary decision. Boakye took over a cross from Jonathan Scherzer directly in the box and gave Sallinger no chance to defend himself. The 22-year-old Ghanaian justified his commitment from the start.
After that, the Carinthians skilfully controlled what was happening and hardly ever got into trouble. The supposed goal by Donis Avdijaj (92nd) was rightly not recognized because of a handball by the offensive player.
For Wolfsberger it was the first win following two draws once morest Altach and Lustenau. For the WAC, it’s next Saturday once morest WSG Tirol, followed by a guest appearance at the tail light Ried. Hartberg first played once morest Ried and then in Lustenau.

“Joaquin de la Torre: Support for Bullrich and Criticism of Larreta for the Governorship of Buenos Aires”
2023-05-20 16:17:00
After Patricia Bullrich would choose Nestor Grindetti as a candidate for the governorship of Buenos Aires, the provincial senator Joaquin de la Torreone of the three leaders who aspired to occupy that position, ratified his support for the presidential project of the former Minister of Security and attacked Horacio Rodriguez Larretawhom he described as “sidewalk inspector” and demanded that he decline his application to unify the national offer of Together for Change.
He did it in the plenary session of leaders and militants in San Miguel, his hometown in the suburbs. “You can continue fighting from the plain, we are not for the charges. We are word. We are not lukewarm. And because we are not lukewarm, we are in front of the sidewalk inspector who came to San Miguel to look at our management “launched De la Torre, who broke his silence following Bullrich announced that Grindetti will be his representative in the Buenos Aires internship to compete with Diego Santilli, Larreta’s card in Buenos Aires.
De la Torre aspired to be the one chosen by the holder of Pro in use of license, like Javier Iguacel o Christian Ritondo, who evaluates his future following a call from Larreta. Today, the Juntos senator renewed his criticism of Larreta and renewed his support for Bullrich. The former mayor of San Miguel had set a condition to continue in the space of the former minister: that the candidate for governor is not Ritondo or that Bullrich will endorse unifying the candidacy with Santilli. Today, he reproached Larreta for the restrictive measures that he imposed on the city during the coronavirus pandemic. “Because we are not lukewarm, we were always once morest closing the schools and the eternal quarantine, something that the sidewalk inspector in the photo promoted with [Axel] Kiciloff and with Alberto Fernandez for a year,” he said.
Escorted by Jaime Méndez, his successor in San Miguel, De la Torre asked the Buenos Aires boss to decline his intention to contest the Presidency. “Let Larreta get off and stop fucking around, if we want to win we all have to go behind Patricia Bullrich as a candidate for president,” she emphasized.
On the other hand, he supported Bullrich choosing a mayor as his gubernatorial candidate and praised Grindetti. In this context, he questioned Santilli. “For years we have been saying that the next governor has to be a mayor and from Buenos Aires. That is why we support the candidacy of Néstor Grindetti. We are not going back an inch from that decision. We are not going to accept a porteño anymore”, topped off
And he added: “We are not going to resign our flags, we are going to continue being annoying. We are going to continue fighting so that the province and the country can move forward”.
