The Fondation Beyeler welcomes the photographic works of the Canadian artist Jeff Wall born in 1946. The paintings come from several collections and the artist, who collaborated in putting together the exhibition, had no longer presented so many works in Switzerland for twenty years.
Until April 21, more than fifty works are on display retracing 50 years of Jeff Wall’s photographic creations. From his famous slides mounted in light boxes, to large format black and white photographs, including color inkjet prints. Martin Schwander, curator of the exhibition, presents these works by Jeff Wall, a pioneer in the world of artistic photography.
