Al-Marsad Newspaper: Consultant and Professor of Cardiology and Arterial Catheterization, Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr, determined the appropriate time to take long-acting and short-acting cholesterol medications.
Al-Nimr said, through his Twitter account, that long-acting cholesterol medications such as (atorva, pita, and rosu) can be taken at any time, and it is not a requirement in the evening.
And he continued: As for the short-acting ones, such as (sim, prav), they must be taken before bed.
