Bosch won the national sports competition “Run a company” for the fifth time and once once more secured the title of the sportiest company in Hungary.
To achieve their victory, the Bosch athletes ran almost 14,000 kilometers, cycled 3,500 kilometers and swam more than 400 kilometers. The competition, organized by the Budapest Sports Office, is aimed specifically at companies. Bosch not only won in the large company category, but was also at the top of the ladder in the overall ranking.
The latest victory is thanks to the Budapest Bosch sports community, which was founded ten years ago, explained the director of the Bosch Medical Center, Dr. Ferenc Ficzere. Today, the 2,000 members at the group’s locations in Budapest, Miskolc, Hatvan, Eger and Maklár regularly exercise in order to live healthier everyday lives. Regular exercise is reflected in the health of the employees. If you’re determined to live a healthier life, just a few simple exercises might make a big difference.

Four and a half years. To move from paper to construction site. A very long period in most advanced countries, but which represents the speed record for the approval of the project of a new sports facility in Italy. Celebrating it is Cantu Next, the consortium that using the vehicle of the stadium law n. 147 of 2013 promoted the construction of a latest generation multi-purpose arena with over 5 thousand seats and an adjacent commercial area. In October 2020, the feasibility study and the economic plan were deposited and in February 2021 the first unanimous green light from the City Council arrived. The construction site was opened a few days ago which will hopefully lead to the construction of the arena for the 2026/27 season in two years.
The overall cost of the operation is approximately 50 million with a form of public-private partnership which was able to count on the “direction” of the Institute for Sports Credit chaired by the current Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi (among the advisors of the project also Initiative, a company that in the last 10 years has supported over 130 partnership operations and over 40 in the sports facility sector). Ics acted as the leader of a pool of banks (Intesa San Paolo, BCC Cantù and Finlombarda) which made approximately 14 million available. The Lombardy region contributed 4 million and the municipality of Cantù 3 million. In January 2024, following the award of the tender called by the Province of Como, “Cantù Arena Spa” was established, a project company entrusted with the project financing which involves Cantù Next as promoters and partners of the concessionary company, as well as Gallerie Commerciali Bennet, Bennet, Acinque Innovazione (A2A group), Pichler Projects, MA.SI Group, Cobet, Nessi&Majocchi and Consonnistrade 2001 Srl
Pallacanestro Cantù (involved in the A 2 tournament with the aim of being promoted to the top Italian championship) will thus have a modern arena designed also thanks to the partnership with the ASM Global company (part of the Legends group), an international leader in the valorization of venue management indoor and outdoor. The concession has an estimated value of approximately 345 million euros and involves the construction of an arena with approximately 5,200 seats, a training field with an internal grandstand with 150 seats, an external court for 3-on-3 basketball, and a space multifunctional hall approved to host all indoor events, from volleyball to wheelchair basketball. The multifunctional nature of the structure will allow full use of the spaces for entertainment activities and extra-sporting events, such as concerts, conferences, trade fairs and cultural events. The intervention area will extend over a territorial surface area of 27,910 m2, and the structure will be developed on three levels with, in addition to the sports Arena, the presence of a commercial building (medium sales structure) and a building dedicated to catering, as well as a private car park for public use.
Together with Initiative, Studio Chiomenti acted as advisors for the operation, for the legal aspects with a team led by Marco Cerritelli, Studio Marelli & Brenna, as general/strategic and tax advisor with a team led by Stefano Marelli , the ABMVS Associate Law Firm of Como, the Todarelli & Partners Firm, the Vassallo Law Firm and the lawyer. Jakob Brugger of Studio Brugger & Partner and the notary Manfredi for the notarial profiles.

The Russian president mentioned the hypothesis of a truce proposed by his French counterpart during the sports competition from July 26 to August 11, while not excluding the creation of a “security zone”, without specifying its nature. , nor its size.

Re-elected President of Russia on Sunday evening, Vladimir Putin said on Sunday “ready to consider all questions”, referring to the proposal for a truce in fighting in Ukraine during the Paris Olympic Games this summer, made on Saturday by French President Emmanuel Macron.
“We will always proceed from the interests of the Russian Federation and the situation in the military contact zone”, the Russian president said on Sunday during a speech to the press at his campaign headquarters.
“I have always said, and I repeat, that we are in favor of peaceful negotiations, but not because the enemy is running out of ammunition. But we are for it, if they really want to build peaceful and good neighborly relations between the two states in the long term, instead of taking a break of a year and a half or two years to rearm“added Vladimir Putin.
“We will be forced, at some point, to create a security zone, which will be quite difficult, and to use the weapons that the enemy uses“, he declared, without specifying the extent of this area, nor the weapons mentioned.
Questioned by several journalists regarding a possible ceasefire proposal during the Olympic Games (from July 26 to August 11) during an interview given to several Ukrainian media (1+1, We are Ukraine, United News, Telemarathon) , President Emmanuel Macron responded that “will be asked, yes”.
As is traditional before each Olympics, France, as host country, presented a resolution on the truce to the United Nations for a vote, adopted on November 21, 2023 with 118 votes in favor, none once morest, and two abstentions.
Asked regarding the possibility of Russian athletes participating under a neutral banner, the French president recalled that “the choice that was made is that Russia, as a country, is not present and that the flag is not present, but that athletes can, in fact, be present”.
The IOC requires Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete in the next Paris Olympic Games under a neutral banner – a system forged during the 1992 Barcelona Olympics for Serbs and Montenegrins hit by international sanctions.
While calling for a ceasefire, Emmanuel Macron recently pledged that France would join other European powers in strengthening military support for Ukraineand insisted that Russia should not be allowed to win the war.
