The NTT INDYCAR SERIES will continue to have a splash of red in 2026, as SOLO Cup has renewed its partnership with Chip Ganassi Racing for the full 18-race season. Building on a successful debut in 2025, the collaboration will see the “Official Sign of Good Times” prominently featured with the team throughout the year, bringing a fan-focused experience both on and off the track.
The partnership’s momentum stems from a memorable victory at Road America last year, where four-time INDYCAR champion Alex Palou piloted the No. 10 SOLO Cup Honda to the winner’s circle. That win, coupled with Palou’s dominant 2025 season – including an Indianapolis 500 victory – solidified the connection between the brand and the team. The renewed commitment underscores the value both organizations place on reaching a dedicated fanbase and creating memorable moments.
“It’s really cool to have SOLO back with the team for the 2026 season, especially after winning together last year at Road America,” Palou said. “That weekend was a lot of fun, and it made the partnership even more special. I really enjoyed working with their brand, and I’m excited to do it again all season long as we go after more wins.”
SOLO isn’t just looking to be a visible presence at the races. The company plans to activate fan engagement at select events throughout the 2026 season, bringing interactive experiences to the paddock and across the country. Chip Ganassi Racing will similarly continue its popular SOLO-themed social media series, offering fans at home the chance to participate in fun games and compete for the “ultimate SOLO Cup.”
The timing of the partnership extension also marks a significant milestone for SOLO. 2026 will be the 50th anniversary of the iconic red party cup, a symbol of gatherings and good times for generations. “Cheers to 50 Years” will be a central theme for the brand as it celebrates this landmark achievement alongside Chip Ganassi Racing.
A Winning Combination
The initial foray into INDYCAR racing proved fruitful for both SOLO and Chip Ganassi Racing. Palou’s victory at Road America, as reported by Racer.com, showcased the brand’s visibility and resonated with fans. The success built upon a historically strong season for Palou, who secured eight race wins and the championship with two races to spare in 2025, according to Chip Ganassi Racing. He completed a third consecutive INDYCAR championship, a feat not seen since Dario Franchitti’s run from 2009-2011.
Kimberly Healy, senior vice president of the SOLO Brand, emphasized the shared values between the two organizations. “SOLO is thrilled to join Chip Ganassi Racing for the 2026 INDYCAR season,” she said. “CGR and SOLO share the honor of having extremely loyal fans, and we’re excited to bring the SOLO fun vibes to the party, from backyard BBQs and campgrounds to the racetrack.”
Looking Ahead to St. Petersburg
The 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season is set to kick off on Sunday, March 1, with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. The race, scheduled for noon ET, will be broadcast on FOX, FOX One, FOX Deportes, the FOX Sports app, and the INDYCAR Radio Network. Fans can expect to see the SOLO branding prominently displayed as Palou and the No. 10 team initiate their pursuit of another championship.
With a renewed partnership and a strong foundation built on success, SOLO and Chip Ganassi Racing are poised for another exciting season. The combination of a winning team, a beloved brand, and a dedicated fanbase promises to deliver memorable moments both on and off the track. The focus now shifts to St. Petersburg and the start of a new chapter in this collaborative journey.
