Two robberies occurred in the areas of Kordelio and Toumpa, Thessaloniki.
In the first case, in the area of Kordelio, a 39-year-old man forcibly removed a gold chain from a woman at the threat of a knife. She called for help, as a result of which neighbors managed to prevent the escape of the 39-year-old, who was immediately arrested by the police.
In the second case, police officers of the White Tower Security Department arrested a 45-year-old man in the Menemeni area, who had earlier entered two convenience stores-cafes in the Toumba area, where, threatening the employees with a knife, he managed to remove from one store the sum of 50 euros. As it emerged from the investigation, the 45-year-old had also robbed a second convenience store.
