Elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City seized around 800 kilograms of cocaine when executing a search warrant in a property located in the Coapa Super 4 subdivision, in the Tlalpan mayor’s office, a shipment never seen before in the capital, valued at about $ 11 million.
The capital’s police chief, Omar García Harfuch, reported that this seizure was made of joint way with the Attorney General’s Office (FGJ) and the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), without any shooting or violent act being made.
During the operation also 11 long guns were secured, four short, cell phone equipment, and three vehicles.
In addition, two people were arrested and transferred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Relevant Affairs to be placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry.

This translates into millions of doses that will not be consumed. for young people in our city, ”Secretary García Harfuch wrote on his Twitter account.
After the seizure, the evidence and the two detainees were transferred to the Central Prosecutor for Investigation for the Crime of Homicide of the Attorney General’s Office (FGJ-CdMx), located on Avenida Jardín in Colonia El Gas de la Alcaldía Azcapotzalco.
Just on January 18, a truck rolled over on Avenida Río San Joaquín and Tercer Anillo de Circunvalación, in the Miguel Hidalgo mayor’s office, which contained a shipment of approximately 475 cocaine wrappers, approximately half a ton of the drug, which was abandoned by those who were driving the vehicle.
