Gospel artist Emma Herberte Mayana, in a press conference announced the official release of her new album entitled: “Celebration”, which elevates Jesus Christ for his good deeds and the manifestation of his infinite graces in the lives of Christians.
Love, the glory of God, are the essential themes addressed in this album of 09 tracks. Already available on all download platforms, “Celebration” is sung in French and in the local language Nzebi.
The musical work is eclectic. Its originality lies in titles such as: Thanks to Jesus, Jesus is alive Likwele and Kumu, whose rhythms are typically taken from traditional Gabonese dances such as Elone, Ligwala and Bwiiti.
“For me, God deserves to be celebrated in all musical genres. He is so great that we cannot limit Him to just one musical genre; when we look at the word of God in Psalm 105 verse 5, the Bible says ‘let us praise Him with sounding cymbals, let us praise Him with clanging cymbals’,” Ms. Mayana maintained.
Gospel artist Emma Herberte Mayana, who is also a manager in the public administration (Ministry of the Environment), is on her second production. Released a few years ago, her 1is album entitled: “Litondo” was a great success.
