One of the biggest cell phone thieves in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro was arrested. The woman identified as Bruna Rayalla by the police used sensual dances and games to distract her victims in the streets while stealing smartphones. The criminal was arrested by police from the 13th DP following several security cameras filmed her in action in Copacabana.
Police investigations reached the miscreant following the suspicion of Bruna’s participation in a robbery with two unidentified accomplices. On that occasion, they used firearms, a knife, a stiletto and a piece of wood to intimidate the victims on the Copacabana waterfront. Despite this, records indicate that the criminal has been stealing cell phones for more than 10 years in the region.
In the video below, it is possible to see how she took advantage of her appearance and games with sensual dances to distract and intimidate her victims, who were usually robbed as she approached. Bruna almost always fled in an ally’s car that appeared a few seconds following the approach.

Bruna has already been arrested 7 times and was imprisoned between 2014 and 2017 for the same crimes, all recorded in dozens of police reports. In addition to Copacabana, the thief also stole cell phones and wallets in downtown Rio, at points offering sexual programs and in São Cristóvão, where she was arrested last Saturday, April 1st.

According to G1, Bruna is in temporary custody, where she will be recognized by the victims and will respond for the crimes of theft and extortion once morest those who paid to have sex with her.
