Central bank head Holzmann sees no danger of a banking crisis like 2008 – banks

Vienna – Austria’s central bank chief Robert Holzmann is trying to calm down following the collapse of the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) in the USA and the turbulence at the ailing Swiss bank Credit Suisse. He sees no danger of a banking crisis like in 2008, said the ECB council member on Saturday in the ORF series “Journal zu Gast”. Nobody at an Austrian or European bank needs to worry regarding their investments.
