Bengaluru: More information has come out regarding the arrest of Suchana Seth, the CEO of a consulting company, following killing his four-year-old son and putting him in a travel bag while traveling from Goa to Bengaluru. Suchana was brought to his apartment in Goa on Friday to re-enact the crime.
The crime was re-enacted for more than two and a half hours. The police officer said that Suchana has shown where the son was lying in the room, where the suitcase in which the child was kept was kept and how the body was put inside it.
The police said that Suchana initially intended to stay in a hotel in Palolem, but as she might not get a room of her choice, she went to Kandolim with her son. Suchana had booked only flight tickets from Bengaluru to Goa. The return ticket was not booked. Through this, the police assesses that Suchana was predestined to return by road.
Venkataraman, a Malayali who lives separately from Suchana, may record his statement at the Calangute police station today. The police found a note written on a tissue paper from Suchana’s belongings. The note is written with eyeliner. The tissue paper was found torn.
“The court and my husband are putting pressure on me to release my son, I can’t take it anymore. My ex-husband is abusive. He taught my son bad things. I don’t want to leave my son to him even for a single day” – says the note.
Earlier, the police had taken samples of Suchana’s handwriting and sent it to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) along with a note for examination by experts. The investigating officers said that Suchana made her son sleep by singing Taraat before killing her.
