Nevertheless, according to information from the Greek media Gazzetta.gr, relayed by the daily Provence, UEFA plans to ban the travel of Marseille fans to Athens and Greek fans to Marseille, on the return trip which will take place on August 15. The European body might defend its decision because of the supposed close proximity between certain Marseille ultras of the CU84 group and those of AEK Athens, sworn enemy of Panathinaikos.
