In Bogotá there were moments of chaos due to riots and strong clashes following the end of the League.
The Colombian soccer final might not end in peace. After Millonarios became champion of the BetPlay I-2023 League, beating Atlético Nacional on penalties, there were sectors of Bogotá that suffered serious acts of violence.
The main riots occurred in Bosa Piedmont, in the rumba sector of the town. There, both teams clashed with fans and there were attacks on the sector’s CAI, once morest the policemen who were in the area’s security cordon.
Violent acts were also recorded in the town of Engativá.
