Vienna – Employer and employee representatives from the chemical industry have agreed on a new collective agreement in the second round of negotiations. For the approximately 50,000 employees in the industry, the KV minimum wages will increase by 9.9 percent as of May 1, and the actual wages will increase by nine percent, as the chemical industry association announced in a broadcast on Monday evening.
