Through social networks, a video with a high sexual content was made public, clearly identifying the candidate for mayor of Chiclayo, Óscar Cárpena. The candidate for the municipal seat admitted to being the one who appears in the audiovisual material and asked for a public apology in the case. Also, he warned that the video was recorded when he was single and a couple of years ago.
According to the images, Carpena appears with another man and two women performing erotic dances and drinking liquor. In addition, she wears tiny clothes. The video soon went viral, so the candidate decided to speak out.
“I decided to make this video with the intention of apologizing to all of you, to the people I love the most in my life. To my wife, my children, my mother and all my family. Yes, I made a mistake and this happened when I was not yet married and I take full responsibility for it. In this sense, I accept my mistake and assume the consequences of my actions, “he told the media.
Who is Óscar Carpena, the candidate for mayor of Chiclayo?
He is an entrepreneur with more than 12 years of experience in managing companies in: supervision, human resources, marketing and management. He is a business administrator, graduated from the University of Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo in Chiclayo. In addition, he joined the Regional Council of said region as a representative of Alianza para el Progreso, a party he resigned from last year, registering as a member of Avanza País, a group from which he also resigned in January of this year.
