Chihuahua. – Given the imminent arrival of the omicron variant, the State Health Council met this followingnoon at the Government Palace to determine preventive measures, among which the regionalization of the Covid traffic light and the return of the state capital to an orange traffic light stand out. from Monday.
The Secretary of Health Luis Felipe Sandoval Magallanes reported that the indicators of Chihuahua are already under the parameters of an orange traffic light, while Delicias is at 0.5 points and Juárez at 1.5, which is why it is very likely that they will also return to the anteroom of the Red.
The five regions where the indicators will be measured independently, to apply the regionalized measures will be: Chihuahua, Juárez, Delicias, Parral and Cuauhtémoc, and the road sanitary filters will return.
Hospital occupancy was also a factor to be considered by the Health Council, since it is 56 percent in state hospitals and 90 percent in IMSS hospitals.
It also highlights the return of the so-called ‘Covid operatives’, with the respective cells that will patrol to check that the provisions of the decree, which will be published on Monday, are followed by established businesses and citizens.
