The 4-year-old boy, Josua Pabón, who died by immersion last Friday the 13th in the Aquatica park, located on the Vereda del Lago de Maracaibo, apparently suffered an epilepsy attack, at the moment he climbed the slide on a swimming pool, shortly following having eaten some food with their relatives.

At the scene, acquaintances and relatives said that “Titi”, as he was affectionately called, was a child with Down Syndrome.

The mayor of Maracaibo, Rafael Ramírez, mourned his death and sent a message to his relatives through his social networks. “We deeply regret the death of a minor in the facilities of a recreational park in Maracaibo. Our sincere condolences to the Pabón family and relatives.
The authorities proceed with legal investigations to clarify the facts, reads the publication on Twitter.
Until now, CICPC officials have carried out the rigorous investigations to determine in detail how the events occurred.
