Vienna – The Constitutional Court (VfGH) rejected the application of twelve children and young people to repeal parts of the Climate Protection Act for formal reasons. The applicants, who were in elementary school and young people, had seen children’s rights endangered by the lack of climate protection measures. The constitutional judges have now determined that not all parts of the law have been challenged, but that they are inextricably linked, it said on Friday.
