In the week of December 18-22, China’s road logistics price index fell 0.02 percent from the previous week, according to industry data.

The index stood at 1,039.96 points during the period, according to a survey jointly conducted by the China Logistics and Purchasing Federation and Guangdong Lin’an Logistics Group.

The truckload logistics price subindex, which mainly measures bulk goods and interregional transportation, fell 0.05 percent to 1,041.51 points on a weekly basis.

According to the survey, the slight decline in the price index was caused by the slowdown in demand growth amid general stability in supply. The index is expected to post slight increases therefollowing amid the fluctuations.
