China’s software sector sees significant revenue growth in January-July
BEIJING, Aug. 28, 2022 (Xinhua) — China’s software industry recorded a 10.3 percent increase in business revenue in the first seven months of this year, according to official data.
Total revenue reached 5.46 trillion yuan (regarding 796.66 billion US dollars) in the January-July period, according to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Companies in this sector generated 569.8 billion yuan in consolidated profits during the period, up 6.6 percent year on year.
During the period, China’s software exports reached 29.8 billion US dollars, up 4.3 percent year on year.
