Bangalore Driven by a strong video game market and good sales figures in data centers, the chip manufacturer expects sales in the third quarter to be better than analysts forecast. The company expects sales of $ 4.4 billion, plus or minus two percent. Analysts, however, went from $ 3.97 billion.
In the second quarter, the data center division posted revenues of $ 1.75 billion, slightly more than the experts expected $ 1.71 billion. The games business also performed better than the predicted $ 1.41 billion with sales of $ 1.65 billion.
