Relief for French cinemas. After three years marked by the Covid pandemic, cinemas are finding their audiences once more.

In 2023, 181 million admissions were recorded, an increase in attendance of 18.9% compared to the previous year, according to figures from the CNC published this Tuesday. “The French continue to return to theaters,” observes the National Center for Cinema and Animated Images.
