Citizens’ survey in Salzburg brings the expansion of the Altstadtgarage to an end – Panorama

The citizen survey in the city of Salzburg on Sunday on the planned expansion of the old town garage brought a clear result: the question as to whether the garage in Mönchsberg, which is owned by the city and state, should be expanded from around 1300 to almost 2000 parking spaces, received 84.38 percent of the valid votes cast to No. 15.62 percent were yes votes. In absolute numbers, that’s 20,948 no votes and 3,878 yes votes.
