Reutlingen Kicks Off City Cycling Circle: Breaking News for Cyclists

Mark your calendars, cycling enthusiasts! From Sunday, June 22nd to Saturday, June 12th, 2025, the district of Reutlingen will once again host its annual City Cycling Circle in partnership with the Climate Alliance and the Radkultur initiative. This year, 22 municipalities will participate, offering a variety of events and family-friendly bike tours designed to get you moving and collecting kilometers.
Kick-Off Event in Münsingen-Böttingen
The kick-off event will be held on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025, on the sports grounds in Münsingen-Böttingen. Cycling fans can look forward to star trips with different starting points, including:
- Tour 1: Grabenstetten via Römerstein
- Tour 2: Reutlingen via Bad Urach
- Tour 3: Trochtelfingen via Gomadingen
- Tour 4: Münsingen via the Lautertal
Participants who embark on a star tour will receive a catering voucher for the kick-off event. SV Böttingen will also host a traditional spaghetti meal with local pasta offerings, followed by coffee and cake.
Family-Friendly Cycling Service and Tours
On the same day, June 22nd, the South German Community Reutlingen invites you to a cycling service and family-friendly bike tour. The event starts at 10:30 AM at Wielandstrasse 8, 72762 Reutlingen. Following the service, the group will embark on a bike tour to a nearby playground for a picnic.
Meanwhile, Grafenberg’s municipality will host a family-friendly opening bike tour in cooperation with the Swabian Alb Association (SAV), starting at 4:00 PM on June 22nd from the town hall in Grafenberg.
Anniversary Bike Tour through Pfronstetten
On Saturday, June 28th, 2025, Pfronstetten will celebrate the 50th anniversary of municipal reform with its “Tour de Gmoidle Pfronstetten” bike tour. The 30-kilometer route promises diverse landscapes and challenging sections, with various stations along the way. Cyclists who complete the tour will receive a surprise gift at the TSV Pfronstetten sports home.

Hub for Tracking Routes and Collecting Kilometers
