Vienna – What works as a city slogan can also be applied to the shortage of skilled workers: Vienna is different. At least to a certain extent. Forecasts by Statistics Austria assume that the number of people in Vienna who are employed or registered as job seekers will grow by around six percent by 2050. A decline is expected in all other federal states – with the exception of Vorarlberg.
