Kollangode (Palakad) ∙ Civil police officer found dead in police quarters. Srilsan (40) who worked at Kollangode station died at Vandithavalam Valayodi Vadukatthara. After coming to work, he did not see the person and contacted him continuously on the phone from the station and home. After she did not pick up the phone, Inspector A. Vipindas and his team checked the room around 6:30 pm and found her hanging from the fan.
The room was packed. The police concluded that it may have happened in the morning. Chittoor DySP Sundaran reached the spot and conducted an inspection. Sreelson’s mother: Chembakavalli. Wife: Lini (Railway Officer, Pollachi) Children: Sriniha, Srisha. The police said that the body will be sent for post-mortem following conducting other tests.
