Jeddah- There was a campaign from some centers in India that they are negotiating with the Saudi Football Federation regarding holding some of the World Cup football matches to be held in India in 2034 in Saudi Arabia. In this regard, some centers, especially those from the Sangh Parivar side, have spread the word that the Indian Football Federation has held discussions with the Saudi Football Federation and that a favorable decision will be taken. Last year, some matches of the Santosh Trophy football tournament were held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. In this regard, the campaign took place by taking the picture of the memorandum of understanding signed by both the soccer federations so that India will also get the co-hosting of the World Cup football. However, Saudi won the World Cup bid without the help of any other country. Saudi Arabia has not entered into any kind of agreement or discussion with any other country regarding the sharing of competitions. In spite of this situation, some centers in India have come out with fake propaganda.
Meanwhile, Saudi Soccer Federation President Yasir Almishal also clarified that the 2034 World Cup will be held only in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has many cities and many stadiums. Mishal said that Saudi Arabia is a country with many cultures, different people and situations.
In India, Sangh Parivar centers are campaigning that Saudi Arabia will give some World Cup football matches to India.
