Jeddah: As part of the climate change, the temperature is reported to be decreasing in many parts of Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Health has warned that climate change will cause many health problems.

Saudi Arabia is currently transitioning from autumn to winter. Many parts of the country are witnessing a sudden drop in temperature and feeling cold. This sudden change in climate may cause health problems in many people.

When it gets cold, there is a risk of skin diseases on the fingers, toes, nose, ears, cheeks and lips. Swelling, red or dark blue skin, sores, and itchiness can also be part of the weather change. The body temperature drops and due to this the risk of infection is high. The Ministry of Health has issued a warning to seek necessary treatment in such situations.
