If you walked the streets of the Ixelles cemetery, the “Korner” was not unknown to you. The place mainly attracted students and young workers from the surrounding area but that is now over since the brand is closing its doors. TERO, the group that owns the bar, announced a few days ago the closure of the place following a final evening on December 23.
No more tapas, small drinks with friends on the terrace and dancing evenings. The owners want to review their strategy. The group wants to move towards lodges and hotels, events and sport with their clubs as with the Riverwoods Beachclub which they already own.
For the moment, the group has not communicated any information on its website and social networks and we also do not know what concept will replace the “Korner” which has been present since 2018 in the neighborhood.
