This Tuesday, the CNOSF (French National Olympic and Sports Committee) issued a negative opinion concerning the reinstatement of Sochaux in Ligue 2. Romain Peugeot, who had defended his plan to buy the club before this body on Monday, reacted, via his entourage, at this announcement, suggesting that his fight might now continue in the administrative court.

“Despite a complete and solid file presented yesterday (Monday), we take note and are surprised by the negative decision of the CNOSF, for which we are studying the legal possibilities of lodging an appeal, as of tomorrow (Wednesday), before the administrative court, told us a relative of this 33-year-old financier. We will use every legal avenue at our disposal to defend the takeover plan we have established and the 150 jobs that depend on it. »
