After a 21-year-old from Wels is said to have choked his wife twice with both hands, he was arrested by the police and Cobra and taken to Wels Prison.
CATFISH. The man from Wels is accused of grabbing his wife of the same age in Wels near the Mühlbach on December 31, 2022 at around two o’clock in the course of an argument with both hands on the neck and choking him for several seconds. The suspect is said to have let go of the victim himself. But when the woman wanted to flee, he ran following her. According to her information, he grabbed her once more and choked her with both hands.
Arrest by police and Cobra
He then fled, was located at his home address and arrested by local police forces with the support of EKO Cobra. The suspect was admitted to the Wels prison by order of the Wels public prosecutor’s office. The woman was released into home care following outpatient treatment in Wels Hospital. Further surveys will follow.
