A professor at the College of Europe has been targeted by accusations of sexual harassment, reports the Politico website. The 50-year-old man allegedly sent inappropriate emails and messages to several female students in recent years.

A group of former employees and students sent a letter to Rector Federica Mogherini, former High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. In this letter, the group demands that the teacher be removed from his position.

Four former students, aged around twenty at the time of the events, showed Politico emails revealing the professor’s inappropriate behavior. The establishment did not provide any comments and mentioned the opening of an investigation.

According to Politico, the rector spoke with the professor, who temporarily resigned from his post at the College of Europe. But it would still be active within other institutions.
