The Green Alliance will be the government party
The National Directorate of the Alianza Verde Party has confirmed this Friday followingnoon that it is declaring itself as the Government Party to accompany the new head of state Gustavo Petro.
Through a press release, the party’s leaders explained that a new era is beginning “which calls us naturally to participate with enthusiasm, knowledge and experience for Colombia. The fight has been historic, and we are ready to support this government of change that will lead us to overcome inequality, violence, corruption and polarization”.
“Our pact is for the country, life, peace, protection of the environment, equality, education, health, the dignity of the countryside, for women and young people who hope to have better opportunities for all and everybody”.
