Colombia reiterates its inadmissibility of the electoral results in Venezuela

This Wednesday, October 2, the Colombian Foreign Minister, Luis Murilloreaffirmed that his country will not recognize a new presidential term for Nicolás Maduro until doubts about the legitimacy of the electoral results in Venezuela on July 28 are clarified.

EPresident Petro has been very clear: we are not going to recognize the results until those doubts are dispelled.«Murillo highlighted.

The diplomat affirmed that, although the principle of sovereignty and independence of the States is respected, they will continue to “work” to find a political solution to the crisis in Venezuela.
