During the signature collection, led by the group Colombian leaders in Charlotte (Lcc), several needs of Colombians emerged. The most critical need was connecting Colombian entrepreneurs and businesses in the Carolinas.

This led to the creation of the Colombian Business Board of Directors (Dec) and the frist prosperous meeting of Colombian business owners in North Carolina and South Carolina on January 20, 2024.

Approximately 200 entrepreneurs attended in person, with an additional 30 joining virtually from Durham.
