Tuesday, June 20, around 6:15 p.m., two Colombian nationals, a 31-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man, coming from Krakow, were intercepted at the customs office at Geneva airport, announced Thursday the Federal Office of Customs and Border Security (OFDF). When checking their personal belongings, customs officers found a small amount of coca powder in a wooden bottle that was in the traveller’s backpack.

Two of his wallets contained a total of 4000 euros and 1500 euros had been placed in a book. This last sum was contaminated with cocaine. Another sum of money was in the possession of his compatriot.

Four bundles of a total amount of 30,000 euros wrapped in foil were hidden in the packaging of chocolate bars. This money also tested positive for cocaine. The man still had 1500 euros on him. The two individuals, the drugs and the money were turned over to the police.
