The possibility that America has its own stadium is still on the table.
The top leader of the red team, Tulio Gómez, said that there is an investment group that presented a proposal and that it will be analyzed very carefully “because you have to look at the pros and cons.”
“There is a group that is interested in doing the stadium, but we are going to analyze it very well, see costs, designs and, above all, its location, which is a very important aspect,” Gómez told El País.
The leader pointed out that “in America we are happy with the Pascual Guerrero, it is well located and one can get there by bicycle, car, motorcycle or on foot; that is why we have to see where the stadium would be.”
Regarding reinforcements, Gómez confirmed that “a central defender, a left back and a winger will arrive; we are working on that.”
