Comprehensive Education in Relational, Emotional, and Sexual Life (Evras) for Wallonia-Brussels Federation Students: New Common Core Standards and Compulsory Activities

From the next school year, all students of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation will regularly receive activities relating to education in relational, emotional and sexual life (Evras), writes Free in its Thursday edition.

The green light was given following a cooperation agreement between the governments of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the Walloon Region and the French Community Commission which has just been approved.

These animations will be organized in continuity with the new common core standards. These minimum animations will be compulsory in schools. All pupils in sixth primary and fourth secondary will receive at least one activity. This concerns 85,000 pupils in Wallonia and 25,000 pupils in Brussels.
