The president of the transition, Col Mamadi Doumbouya, was welcomed this Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Ahmed Sékou Touré international airport in Conakry following his participation in the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The plane carrying Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya landed on the tarmac around 11:40 a.m. There, the man of September 5 exchanged a few handshakes with members of the CNRD, the transitional government and representatives of national and international institutions.
From there, he headed towards the Mohamed V palace, but first a strong mobilization awaited him at the exit of the airport.
